This Remington manufactured receiver with scope mounting groove is for the model 512-X Sportmaster bolt action rimfire rifle and is in very good condition retaining about 90% original blue finish with the balance exhibiting a brown patina with a few specks of light surface rust present. This is the only part on the model 512-X Sportmaster rifle that is tracked as a firearm therefore it will need to be transferred through a dealer. Receivers do not qualify as a C&R based on BATFE's guide lines. (file photos)
